Amidst conflicts and changes in politics, climate and environment of our world, health sciences and alternative medicine have still been driven by the results from high-quality research papers conducted in varied settings around the world. The editorial team of AMJAM which includes Thai and international editors commit to select and publish great research articlesinAMJAM to disseminate advanced and evolving knowledge in the fields of medicine and alternative medicine to its readers. We are now in the process of quality improvement to be well-recognized as an international journal and eventually be accepted in world-renowned scientific citation databases. This process may take some time and our readers will notice these changessoon. For this current issue,AMJAM publishes original articles addressing anti-inflammatory property of different Thai traditional medicine remedies and impact of pterygium, one of the most common eye diseases on tear and dry eye symptoms.
